The event is hosted over a period of five days in the following format:
A 3-day trade exhibition: The trade exhibition showcases air, sea and land defence technologies, including a static aircraft display. It is open to media and trade visitors only.
A 2-day air show: The air show is a live demonstration of global aircraft and is open to media, trade and general public visitors.

ABOUT THE AIR SHOW AND EXHIBITION
Africa Aerospace and Defence Air show and Defence Exhibition is open to the public.
The air show comprise of a world class air demonstration, mobility track demonstrations, parachute drops, aerobatic displays and many other static displays from some of the biggest names in the aviation and defence industry who will demonstrate their latest and greatest aircraft.
There will also be organised children’s activities and attractions including a Youth Development Programme will be staged in a dedicated Pavilion with a fun fly park where the youth will have interactive activities, such as plastic model building, virtual aviation, simulator, target shooting, first-aid and crime scene investigation.

The Africa Aerospace and Defence (AAD) is Africa’s only Aerospace and Defence Expo that combines both a trade exhibition and an air show. On this page you will receive regular updates on what to expect from AAD2018.

Aviation Central will have a full team at the 2018 Event. We are excited to be part of the Leading Aerospace and Defence event on the African Continent. We are currently in negotiations with the AAD team to become official public media source of information regarding the 2018 event.
